About Our Speaker: 

Bob retired from USDA, Natural Resources Conservation Service in 2010. He worked in 20 states in the eastern United States for over 30 years. Bob spent most of his former career in the USDA plant materials program collecting, evaluating, selecting ecotypes, and determining propagation and production protocols for native plants used in conservation (Land reclamation, dune and coastal marsh restoration, streambank stabilization, wetland restoration, wildlife and pollinator habitat, and forage production). He has worked as a private lands biologist for the past 13 years helping landowners establish and manage native plants for wildlife and pollinator habitat.
