About this Presentation:
Attendees will discuss current social and environmental concerns and identify how various horticultural practices can be used to address them. Methods and applications will be reviewed and discussed to determine their uses across assorted site characteristics.

About Our Speaker:
Kaitlyn Lamaster, an Illinois native and former NC State Extension Horticulture Agent, returned to her Alma Matter, Southern Illinois University, in 2023 to teach in the School of Forestry and Horticulture. There, she emphasizes her courses and work in promoting sustainable landscape and farming practices, native plants and edibles, and greenhouse management.
