Tom Packer is a Master Gardener from Wake County and a member of the program’s Management Team. He is a member of the North Carolina State Agricultural Foundation Board and President of the 83-year old Gardeners of Wake County club. He also is a moderator of the Facebook group Gardening Carolina and volunteers at the JC Raulston Arboretum. Tom earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of California.  Tom is a frequent contributor to GAONC, writing articles for our newsletter and website, as well as presenting virtual programs. Tom also serves as a liaison to the GAONC board.
