About this Presentation:

This talk will be a crash course on making the most of small spaces when gardening for pollinators, with a specific focus on balcony gardens. We'll start with a general discussion on the importance of pollinators and some of the North Carolina pollinators you might be familiar with, before moving on to the logistics of planting and establishing a balcony pollinator garden. Get ready to learn how to select regionally native plants, layer bloom periods throughout the year, and get creative in tight spaces. Lastly, we'll be inspired by an example of a beautiful, bee-friendly balcony garden cultivated by a Pollinator Partnership staff member, Amber Barnes.

The presentation will be recorded for

members to view later in our Video Library.
