About this Presentation:
Stormwater runoff is the #1 source of water pollution in NC's urbanizing areas. NC is consistently ranked in the top 5 fastest growing populations. More people means more buildings, roads, parking lots and more impervious areas that produce runoff! Native plants often play an important role in small-scale stormwater practices that can be used to help control stormwater in the landscape.
Participants will increase their knowledge and understanding of:
- why stormwater is an issue
- effects on water quality
- practices that can be used to control stormwater in the landscape
- use of native plants in designs
The presentation will be recorded for
members to view later in our Video Library.
