About this Presentation:
Join Jonathan Larson of the University of Kentucky as he discusses the world of arthropods, especially insects, and their beneficial roles they play in the environment. While the word "pest" has almost become synonymous with "insect" at this point, there are many insects that provide direct or indirect benefits to humans. Everyone has the opportunity to try and help struggling populations of "good bugs" with some simple or creative methods of conservation. After attending this session, learners will be able to identify some of the more common beneficial insects and will be empowered to take proactive steps of conservation for them.
The presentation will be recorded for
members to view later in our Video Library.
