About:
Learn what rain gardens are and why we need them in North Carolina. Karen will explain how rain gardens are designed and constructed, what plants are appropriate for them, and how they can add beauty, pollinator habitat, and stormwater management for homeowners. A powerpoint presentation will share photos of rain gardens and the construction process.
The presentation will be recorded for
members to view later in our Video Library.
About our Speaker:
Karen Rindge is a landscape designer specializing in pollinator and native plant designs and rain gardens. She is owner and designer for Rooted in Nature Designs, based in Raleigh. She is certified through NC Extension in rain garden design.
